The Castle of Grief, which used to be quite extensive in the first place, is now more than double in size - with the 2nd part requiring a key. It has been massively redesigned and now takes it's style more or less after the world of Meridian - from "Blood Omen 2". You just can't go wrong with the classics. Yeah, back then they really knew how to make games. 

But in order to get to this magnificent techno-mage fortress, you have to pass through the heart of the haunted forest and lay siege at the ruins, destroying any and all opposition before you can enter the grounds safely.
